Fig, Banana and Golden Turmeric Smoothie
This smoothie is packed full of turmeric which is an anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, antiviral, immune-modulatory, neuroprotective, and has antimicrobial properties. I have used Golden Grind's Turmeric Latte Blend but you can just use a mix of turmeric and cinnamon if you don't have any.
Ingredients
- 1 frozen banana
- 1 frozen fig
- 1/2 cup coconut water
- 1 cup milk
- 1tbs chia seeds
- 1tbs linseed
- 1tsp Golden Grind Turmeric Latte Blend
Method
- Add all ingredients to a blender and wait 15 minutes for the fruit to soften and the chia seeds to absorb some of the moisture.
